Noah hosts Meets & Greets to forward his goal of connecting young people afflicted with Crohn’s or colitis to athletes who have overcome similar challenges and who will mentor and inspire them to succeed.
February 28, 2019:
AVC hosted our annual “Noah’s Crohnies” Suite Night at Madison Square Garden! Noah hosted 10 pediatric Crohn’s
patients for a fun evening with food and tickets for the Cavs vs. Knick game to cheer on the Cavs to victory!
After the game, the kids participated in a Q&A and photo opp. with Larry regarding his experiences with Crohn’s!
Thanks to the New York Knicks and The Garden for the amazing hospitality and for allowing to to enjoy this
special evening with some very deserving members of the AVC family 🏀❤️
March 25, 2018:
A Meet & Greet with Larry and Noah was set up for Omar and his parents after the the Cavaliers vs Nets
game at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, NY. Omar wrote and shared with us his college essay on his journey as a high school
basketball player with Crohn’s disease. Larry took time to encourage him and give him some wisdom
as he moves forward as a college ball player and a Crohn’s Ambassador.
December 11, 2017:
For the first Meet and Greet Noah brought ten kids with Crohn’s or Colitis disease to a Lakers vs Knicks
game at Madison Square Garden, complete with a Meet & Greet with Larry Nance, Jr. after the game.
This was a great opportunity for these children to not only meet Larry and Noah, but also talk to
other children going through similar situations.
