A Meet & Greet with Larry and Noah was set up for Omar and his parents after the the Cavaliers vs Nets
game at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, NY. Omar wrote and shared with us his college essay on his journey as a high school
basketball player with Crohn’s disease. Larry took time to encourage him and give him some wisdom
as he moves forward as a college ball player and a Crohn’s Ambassador.

For the first Meet and Greet Noah brought ten kids with Crohn’s or Colitis disease to a Lakers vs Knicks
game at Madison Square Garden, complete with a Meet & Greet with Larry Nance, Jr. after the game.
This was a great opportunity for these children to not only meet Larry and Noah, but also talk to
other children going through similar situations.
